Don Hamill has nearly 30 years of marketing and management experience, as well as expertise in event production and entrepreneurial business development. He has worked in international, national and local markets. He currently produces Arizona’s largest private annual LGBT street fair, Rainbows Festival, with fundraising opportunities for local LGBT nonprofits.
Don has held numerous positions with local nonprofits over the years. In addition to Phoenix Pride, Don has volunteered for such organizations as Valley 1n10, Arizona Human Rights Foundation and the Greater Phoenix Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce. He is also a co-founder of AIDS Walk Phoenix.
Don has served Phoenix Pride as Director of Exhibitors, Media, Sponsorship 2001-2005; Vice President of Administration 2005-2007; Vice President of Marketing 2007-2008; and Vice-Chair 2008-2009. Don was also the 2003 recipient of the Pride President’s Award. |
