Pride Festival - Features

For over 30 years, Phoenix Pride has been organizing marches, rallies, parades, entertainment and education events to celebrate the Phoenix LGBTQ community. In 2012, nearly 50 corporations, local business, and organizations sponsored the 32nd Annual Phoenix Pride Festival in Phoenix.

This year’s 32nd Annual Phoenix Pride Festival is a two day celebration designed to bring our diverse LGBTQ and allied communities together for a weekend of camaraderie and celebration of our past, present and future while raising funds for the Phoenix Pride Community Programs while educating the public about the existence and continuing civil rights battle facing our community. The Phoenix Pride Festival attracts upwards of 24,000 attendees during the two day celebration offering unique opportunities for marketing and exposure for businesses and organizations interested in creating relationships within the LGBTQ community.

The Phoenix Pride festival features over 150 entertainment performances on 5 stages. Headliners for 2012 were Country Music Superstar, Chely Wright, Vanessa Carlton, Cazwell, Amanda Lepore and the amazing Village People. The festival brings a variety of food vendors, as well as an Arts Expo, Johnny Rockets Kids Zone, 1n10’s Youth Space, Lakeside Wedding Chapel for private and mass commitment ceremonies, Sway Events and Johnny Rocket's VIP Experience, ManHunt's Erotic World and Karamba's Dance Pavilion.  Combined with participation from government officials, services, private corporations and celebrities, the Phoenix Pride Festival continues to raise positive awareness of the metro-Phoenix LGBTQ community.
