The Annual Phoenix Pride Awards Gala

Phoenix Pride hosts the annual Phoenix Pride Awards Gala every June just following the Phoenix Pride Festival and Parade. This is a very special evening to honor and celebrate the contribution of individuals, organizations, businesses and political leadership from the LGBT community of metro Phoenix. We honor the past, celebrate the present and look into the future. It is an evening of entertainment, awards and special presentations.

The evening will feature the presentation of the following awards:

Phoenix Pride Community Spirit Awards

BJ Bud Spirit Award

To honor and celebrate an a nonprofit organization that has made a significant contribution to the metropolitan Phoenix LGBT community.

John Bircumshaw Spirit Award

To honor and celebrate an individual that has made a significant contribution to the metropolitan Phoenix LGBT community.

Howard & Patricia Fleischmann Spirit Award

To honor and celebrate a business that has made a significant contribution to the metropolitan Phoenix LGBT community.

Mayor Phil Gordon Spirit Award

To honor and celebrate an individual or organization that has made a significant contribution in the political issues for the metropolitan Phoenix LGBT community.

Kirk Baxter Spirit Award

To honor and celebrate an individual or organization that has made a significant contribution in the area of community health issues for the metropolitan Phoenix LGBT community.

Tish Tanner Spirit Award

To honor and celebrate the outgoing Miss Phoenix Gay Pride, or another female impersonator from the community in the absence of an outgoing Miss Phoenix Gay Pride, for their contribution of service and fundraising for the metropolitan Phoenix LGBT community.

Linda Hoffman Spirit Award

To honor and celebrate the individual who is selected as the Phoenix Pride volunteer of the year.

Brandon Packer Spirit Award

To honor and celebrate the outgoing Mister Phoenix Gay Pride, or another male impersonator from the community in the absence of an outgoing Miss Phoenix Gay Pride, for their contribution of service and fundraising for the metropolitan Phoenix LGBT community.
