Katy June is a principal event planner for SWAY Events where she thrives on producing unique events and fundraisers that promote unity, awareness and entertainment to both the LGBTQ and progressive contemporary communities in Phoenix. She served as the co-chair for the 2007 1Voice Gala and has produced such large scale events as the 2007 & 2008 Echo Readers Choice Awards, and many successful SWAY Events productions such as “Summer Chill” and “Dancing With The Bars.” She has also created and held the position of Marketing Manager at the growing SEO firm iCrossing and was named Rookie of the Year as an advertising sales executive at the Phoenix New Times.
In addition to volunteering for Phoenix Pride, Katy is also a current member-at-large on the Board of Directors for the Phoenix Metropolitan Men’s Chorus and a member of the Greater Phoenix Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce.
Katy was event co-chair for the 2009 Phoenix Pride Gala and has served and currently serves as chair of the Celebration Oversight Committee 2008-2010. |
