We are enormously proud of our ability to give back to the Phoenix LGBTQ+ community, to utilize funds generated from Phoenix Pride events to support significant, impactful community programs.

The Phoenix Pride Community Grants Program is a charitable program which provides project-based financial grants to nonprofit organizations serving Maricopa County’s LGBTQ+ community. Since its inception in 2010, the Phoenix Pride Community Grants Program has awarded $500,000 in project-based grants.

Community Grant Application Will Open Late 2025 or Early 2026

In light of recent developments in the social, community, and political landscape, the Board of Directors of Phoenix Pride, Inc. is set to re-evaluate and revamp our Community Grants Program.
With the new administration in Washington pausing funding across various federal assistance programs and eliminating federal support for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) initiatives, we recognize that our previous funding approaches may need to adapt to better serve our community’s evolving needs. Important Clarification: Phoenix Pride is NOT ending or eliminating our financial support for local community initiatives. Instead, we are actively assessing how these federal policy changes will impact our community, ensuring that we maximize the effectiveness of our resources.
As a result, we will be adjusting the timeline for opening grant applications to late 2025 or early 2026.
Additionally, we want to assure you that the Phoenix Pride Scholarship Program will continue without disruption. Applications for the 2025 scholarships are now open, with a submission deadline of April 15, 2025.
As always, Phoenix Pride’s leadership is deeply committed to our mission and steadfast in supporting the Arizona LGBTQ+ community in all its diversity.
We see you. We support you. We are here for you.
